The Workshop welcomed the participation of Mr. Le Ngoc Hoa – Vice Chairman of Nghe An People’s Committee, leaders from local departments and branches, 21 districts and towns and more than 30 enterprises.
Mr. Dau Anh Tuan – PCI Project Director, Head of Legal Department of VCCI was invited to deliver a presentation analyzing PCI of Nghe An, thereby making recommendations for improving the province’s business environment.
At the workshop, the delegates appreciated the efforts made by the province over the past years which were reflected by effective and synchronous implementation of policies to improve the province’s business environment and provincial competitiveness. Also, the Workshop reserved a section to discuss the initiative of DDCI and how to choose a suitable model for Nghe An.
It was affirmed that the construction and implementation of DDCI would serve as one among good ways to improve PCI sub-indices, enhancing local governance quality and creating a more business enabling environment. This, however, would require more efforts and determination of the governmental apparatus as a whole.
